What file formats do you export?
We can export to the following formats; STL, VRML, U3D, PLY, XYZ, OBJ with JPG textures. Other formats can be accommodated if required

What quality is the data?
We use Rapidform's advanced mesh generator which provides smoothing, intelligent curvature-based hole-filing and smart variable density decimation to provide a fully-healed, watertight mesh model. Our models are suitable for direct output to 3D printers. Click HERE to view sample models

How accurate are the scans?

• Small objects: Accuracy 0.0025 inch with a maximum of 400 points per inch
• Medim objects: Accuracy 0.015 inch with a maximum of 150 points per inch
• Large objects: Accuracy 0.045 inch

Can you scan in colour?
We can create 3D renderings with visually rich and highly accurate colour. Most digital cameras capture 3 colour channels: red, green, and blue. Our state of the art High Definition scanners use a precisely calibrated colour wheel to capture 7 colour channels, providing 3X more accurate colour. There is no skew between the colour and geometry
